The Rainbow Incinerator Zoanthid Coral (Zoanthus sp.) is a high-impact showpiece coral included in the Living Oceans Collector Coral Range — a curated selection of rare, aquacultured corals celebrated for their colour intensity, pedigree, and ethical sourcing. Each coral in this exclusive series is supplied with a Pedigree ID Certificate, ensuring transparency and traceability from cultured origin to display.

This zoanthid morph is known for its fiery palette and dramatic contrast. Each polyp (approximately 5–10 mm in diameter) features a bright orange oral disc, often ringed with deep violet or black, and accented by fluorescent green or gold lashes. Under actinic lighting, its colours intensify, making it a magnetic focal point in any reef system.

Ideal for use in Living Ecosystem Aquariums, Rainbow Incinerator Zoanthids thrive in low to moderate light with gentle to moderate water flow. Their compact colonial structure allows for high-density placement in feature zones, rock faces, or integrated Living Block surfaces.

Reproduction
Like other Zoanthus species, Rainbow Incinerators reproduce asexually via budding from the encrusting mat. Polyps spread outward slowly, maintaining uniformity in colour and form. This makes them ideal for controlled propagation and display within sustainable coral programs.

As a certified Collector Coral, the Rainbow Incinerator embodies Living Oceans’ commitment to advancing reef-safe aquaculture and sustainable marine display practices through traceable, high-quality coral cultivation.
