Smart Ecosystem Aquarium – LED Light with Autonomous Light Cycle: Troubleshooting Guide

The LED lighting system in your Smart Ecosystem Aquarium is designed to replicate a natural reef day–night cycle, supporting coral growth and fish wellbeing while keeping operation effortless. Each unit comes pre-programmed by Living Oceans with optimised dawn, daylight, and dusk phases — no setup is required.

If power is turned off, the light will not lose its program. When power is restored, it automatically returns to the correct point in the lighting cycle based on the time of day, ensuring your aquarium stays on schedule without any need for adjustment.

To maintain best performance:

  • Use voice control for quick colour changes — always remember to return to schedule, refer to the section “Voice Control Function” below.
  • Keep the light surface clean with a soft, dry cloth to prevent salt build-up.
  • Avoid changing the pre-set schedule to maintain natural coral balance.
  • If you need to restore your light settings, refer to the section Restoring Light Settings below.

Voice Control Function

Your LED light also includes voice control for quick, hands-free operation.
Simply say the command clearly after waking the device with “Hey Lena.”

Available voice commands:

  • “Hey Lena, turn the light on.”
  • “Hey Lena, turn the light off.”
  • “Hey Lena, change colour.”
  • “Hey Lena, return to schedule.”

Voice control allows you to make instant changes without interrupting the programmed lighting cycle. Always remember to return to schedule after using voice commands.

For the full list of commands, refer to your Smart Ecosystem Aquarium Manual.
