Equipment Warranty
All Living Oceans Aquarium equipment includes a 12 Month Equipment Warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty applies to equipment supplied by Living Oceans, including:
- Aquarium and cabinet
- Pumps
- Filtration systems
- Lighting systems
- Heating equipment
- Autonomous aquarium components
- Maintenance kit
If equipment supplied by Living Oceans is found to be faulty due to manufacturing defects or workmanship, we may repair or replace the item at no additional cost.
Livestock Warranty
We take great care to ensure all fish, corals, and invertebrates are healthy before dispatch.
All livestock supplied by Living Oceans includes a 24-hour livestock warranty.
If livestock arrives unwell or in poor condition, customers must contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Where approved, we may provide:
- Replacement livestock
- Store credit
- Troubleshooting and support
What’s Covered
This warranty may cover:
- Manufacturing faults or defects
- Equipment failure under normal use
- Livestock arriving in poor condition
- Incorrect items supplied by Living Oceans
All claims are assessed individually by our support team.
Care Requirements
To maintain warranty eligibility, customers must:
- Follow the Living Oceans Care Guidelines
- Complete the mandatory training modules
- Follow acclimation and setup instructions
- Maintain suitable aquarium conditions
- Use the aquarium within recommended stocking limits
Our goal is to help customers create a stable and healthy marine environment for long-term success.
What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not cover issues caused by:
- Misuse or neglect
- Failure to follow care instructions
- Improper acclimation
- Overstocking
- Aggression or incompatibility between livestock
- Introduction of livestock or equipment from third-party suppliers
- Power outages, environmental conditions, or events outside our control
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality
- Unauthorised modifications to the aquarium system
Livestock losses occurring after professional maintenance visits are also not covered.
