Living Oceans provides a specialised two-step delivery process designed to ensure your aquarium system is safely prepared before livestock is introduced.

Free delivery for all Living Oceans Aquarium purchases within the Perth Metro area.
Greater Perth, Regional WA & Interstate Delivery
Delivery is available across Australia. Shipping costs vary depending on location, accessibility, and aquarium size.

Two-Step Delivery Process
Living Oceans Aquariums are delivered in two stages to ensure the aquarium is correctly installed and stable before livestock arrives.
Step 1 – Equipment Delivery
Your aquarium equipment is delivered first via road courier.
This includes:
- Aquarium and cabinet
- Autonomous systems and accessories
- Maintenance Kit
- Dry Sand
- Cleaning and setup accessories
Orders may arrive in multiple boxes to protect components during transport.
Step 2 – Livestock Delivery
Once setup is complete, livestock is shipped separately via express courier.
Before livestock can be dispatched, customers must:
- Complete the mandatory online training modules
- Set up the aquarium according to Living Oceans guidelines
- Return the completed setup checklist
This process helps protect livestock health and ensures the aquarium environment is stable before arrival.
Delivery Scheduling
Equipment delivery is scheduled after order confirmation and payment clearance, subject to stock availability and courier capacity.
Livestock delivery will only be scheduled once all setup and training requirements have been completed.
Please allow additional time during busy periods, regional deliveries, public holidays, or unforeseen courier delays.
While we aim to meet estimated delivery timeframes, exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
Self-Installation
Every Living Oceans Aquarium includes:
- A Maintenance Kit
- Step-by-step setup tutorials
- Access to online training resources through the Membership Portal
Customers can safely install their aquarium at home by following the provided instructions and setup checklist.
Professional Installation
Professional aquarium setup is available for an additional fee.
Installation services are available through the Living Oceans team within Perth Metro and through approved partner installers across Greater Perth, Regional WA, and interstate locations.
A qualified installer will:
- Assemble the aquarium
- Test system components
- Prepare the aquarium for livestock delivery
Additional fees may apply if the aquarium must be repositioned after delivery.
Delivery Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring the installation site is suitable prior to delivery.
This includes:
- Adequate structural support
- Level flooring
- Power access
- Safe environmental conditions
- Clear delivery access
Please notify Living Oceans prior to delivery if there are stairs, narrow doorways, difficult access points, or other site restrictions.
Failure to meet site requirements may result in rescheduling fees or installation delays.
Livestock Shipping
All livestock is shipped separately via express courier to minimise transit stress and support livestock health.
Due to the live nature of fish, corals, and invertebrates:
- Delivery timing is carefully coordinated
- Someone must be available to receive the shipment
- Livestock should be unpacked and acclimated promptly upon arrival

Damaged or Missing Deliveries
Customers should inspect all deliveries promptly upon arrival.
If any items are damaged, missing, or incorrect, please contact:
within 24 hours of delivery and include:
- Order number
- Photos of the issue
- Description of the damage or missing items
Delivery Delays & Liability
Living Oceans is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Courier disruptions
- Weather events
- Regional transport limitations
- Public holidays
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
Risk of loss or damage to equipment passes to the customer upon delivery.
For livestock, responsibility transfers upon acceptance of delivery.
Optional shipping insurance may be requested at the time of purchase.
