The Domino Nemo is a rare designer variation of the Amphiprion ocellaris, featuring a deep black body accented by unique white markings. These markings, which can include cheek spots or a partial head bar, make every individual distinct and highly sought after.
As juveniles, Domino Nemos start out brownish, gradually darkening to a rich black as they mature. Like other clownfish, they live in a structured hierarchy, with a dominant female, a breeding male, and juveniles. If the female is lost, the male transitions into her role, maintaining balance in the group.
While naturally found in anemones, the Domino Nemo adapts well to reef structures. The Living Ecosystems Aquarium, with its Living Blocks Reef, provides ideal overhangs and sheltered spaces, ensuring a comfortable and natural habitat.
