Our Maintenance and Care subscription keeps your Living Ecosystems Aquarium thriving with ease. Billed quarterly, it includes one professional maintenance visit every 3 months. You pay only for the visit itself — no hidden fees — but receive added protection worth $700 at no extra cost.
This is an ongoing subscription, so you'll never miss your maintenance — we send you a reminder each quarter to book your maintenance visit, so you don't need to keep track.
Your first appointment will be available 60 days after sign-up, so we recommend starting your subscription after your aquarium is installed to ensure you can book it on time.
Each visit includes:
- Water testing & report – $20
- Up to 70% natural seawater change – $10
- Filter Media Mix – $18
- Marine Technician labour – $180

As a subscriber, you’re covered in the rare event of a complete ecosystem loss. We’ll fully restore your aquarium with:
- Emergency maintenance visit
- Living Blocks reef, bio-active sand, and saltwater
- Coral pack (10 standard corals)
- Standard clownfish (3 for 80L, 4 for 130L)

Quarterly Maintenance Service Call-Out: Our trained professionals conduct a thorough maintenance visit every three months, which includes:
Water Change: Replenishment of premium, enhanced water with optimized trace elements that mirror natural sea water. This service helps balance essential trace elements and nutrients, restores water quality, and removes accumulated waste.
Water Testing: Testing of accumulative nutrients and elements, focusing on nitrate, phosphate, temperature, and salinity, to ensure the stability of your aquarium. Note: This testing does not include pH, ammonia, nitrite, calcium, or magnesium.
Support and Advice: Expert guidance on best practices for maintaining your marine ecosystem, along with answers to any questions you may have. No consumables are included in the plan

Equipment Warranty
All equipment is covered by a 12-month Equipment Warranty, with repairs or replacements for faulty items as outlined in the Terms and Conditions.
Livestock Warranty
All livestock purchases come with a 30-day replacement or money-back Livestock Warranty, subject to the Terms and Conditions.
Extra Care Warranty
The Extra Care Warranty provides comprehensive support to restore your aquarium in the event of a complete ecosystem loss. This includes replacement of Living Blocks reef, bio-active sand, water, and livestock, including clownfish and a Coral Pack. A $200 excess applies to claims, as specified in the Terms and Conditions.
