When your Living Oceans Smart Ecosystem Aquarium arrives, it's designed to be as simple to set up as possible — everything is pre-configured, labelled, and ready to go.

The cabinet itself is a premium product: glass-panelled with an aluminium frame, available in black or white, with no corrosion, no delamination, and built to last. Inside you'll find labelled power cables, a cable management area, a QR code for instant support access, and a built-in drawer — a feature rarely seen in aquarium cabinetry.

Getting started is a two-part process:

Part 1 — Hardware Delivery

Scan the QR code inside your cabinet to access the assembly video (approximately nine minutes). The video walks you through every step, including:

  • Unpacking and checking your checklist
  • Assembling your ATO and filling with tap water
  • Mounting and programming your auto feeder (pre-set to 0.3g at 12pm daily)
  • Angling your filter return nozzle correctly
  • Filming your water flow to confirm you're ready for livestock

Your maintenance kit is included with the hardware delivery and contains everything needed for installation — a reservoir, 20-litre bucket, pump, and all accessories.

Part 2 — Livestock Delivery

Once your checklist is complete and your setup is confirmed, your livestock is dispatched in a separate delivery. This two-part system ensures your aquarium is fully cycled and ready to support life before your fish and corals arrive.

Expected setup time is around two hours, with additional training videos available on the Support Hub to guide you through ongoing maintenance once your aquarium is up and running.
